The Palestinian Issue – Questions & Answers

Once again, I refer to the website Neturei Karta International, with the intention of spreading the word, and reducing violence where possible. The original text is taken from here:-

Series B – Pamphlet No. 3

Q – Is it true that Neturei Karta International supports Palestinian sovereignty over all of the Holy Land?

A – Our answer is, unequivocally, yes. However, this answer requires some prior explanation. We are an anti – Zionist, Orthodox organization. Our quarrel with Zionism exists on many levels. First, by establishing a state in Palestine which is forbidden according to Jewish law, it denies the Divine punishment inherent in the Jewish people’s exile and seeks to remedy what is essentially a spiritual state by this worldly means. Second, it has devoted much of its energy to the uprooting of traditional Torah faith. Third, it has committed a grievous moral evil in its treatment of the Palestinian people.

Q – What do you advocate?

A – We demand, without compromise, the peaceful dismantling of the Israeli state. As to whether or how many Jews may remain there once this process is completed, that decision is totally up to the Palestinian leaders and people.

Q – Aren’t you afraid what this might result in for the Jews living in the Land?

A – Actually, we fear far more for the Jews in the present hopeless situation. After 53 years, five wars, endless terror and counter terror, innocent civilians dead on both sides, there is no solution in sight. Both the Israeli right and left have failed miserably to rectify this situation. We are offering an alternative to what is clearly a tragic experiment.

Q – But don’t Jews deserve a homeland?

A – No Torah faithful Jew in the 1900 years of our people’s exile believed that we should seek to reclaim the land by military means. Instead, they believed that at the end of days, when the Creator chooses to redeem all mankind then all peoples will join in the worship of Him. This will not require the subjugation or dispossession of peoples. It will be a time of universal brotherhood with its spiritual in the Holy Land. Until then the Jewish people have a particular task in exile.

Q – And what might that be?

A – To accept in faith their exile. And, by word and deed, quietly and unobtrusively, to act as moral and spiritual paragons. And, in general to attend to G-d’s service via Torah study, prayer and good deeds.

Q – How do you view the Palestinian people?

A – They are the victims of the Zionist movement’s moral blindness and obstinate refusal to take into account the existence of peoples other than themselves. The Palestinian people have a right to their homeland. And they have a right to financial restitution for property loss and damages inflicted upon them over the past decades.

Q – What efforts have you brought to this cause?

A – We have frequently published statements in support of Palestinian claims and in sympathy with their suffering. We have joined Palestinians in protest against the abuses that they have been subject to. We have, in general, attempted to maintain a public presence in both the Jewish and Islamic world in order that the venerable tradition of Jewish, Torah based anti – Zionism be not forgotten.

Q – What is your opinion on the peace process, Oslo accords and similar efforts?

A – Any Jewish support for the suffering Palestinian people is a step in the right direction practically and evidence of a moral conscience which every Jew should have. However, we believe that all these plans, although they may be well intentioned, are doomed to failure. Jews are forbidden to exercise political sovereignty over the Hold Land. They are called upon to seek peace with all men. The Zionist enterprise is metaphysically doomed to moral and practical failure.

Q – What should be the Jewish approach to the Islamic world?

A – Jews are called upon to deal ethically and honestly with all men. This is our task as a “kingdom of priests and a holy nation.” Zionism has misled many Jews into acts of aggression against the Palestinian people. Therefore, it behooves all Jews, as best we can, to rectify this situation by seeking peace, reconciliation and dialogue when dealing with Palestinian people and all Islamic nations. This is one of the great spiritual tests confronting the Jewish people – to establish a moral relationship with their Islamic brethren.

Q – Realistically speaking, does your program have any chance of implementation?

A – First, the Creator runs the world and with Him all things are possible. Second, there is a tremendous sense of disillusionment and exhaustion among Jews world wide with the Israeli state and Zionism in general. Many realize that following Zionist principles leads to one dead end after another. They are longing for another solution. Our solution, which is simply the ancient tradition of the Torah, is appearing increasingly plausible to many and may, in the not too distant future, with the help of the Creator, carry the day until then we hope and pray that no more innocent blood be shed, be it Jewish or Arab. We yearn for the day when many will come to realize that the only real path to peace lies in the Jewish people returning to their true task in exile, the undivided service of G-d and devotion to morality, integrity and honesty.

In fact, it is even more complicated than that, with Jews, Israelis and Zionists, with subdivisions in each category. However, as the intention is to try to reduce random acts of antisemitism, we might just find that sticking to just the two classifications will suffice.

The following text, and the title above, are taken verbatim from the web page –

We would like to take a few minutes of your time to prevent you from making a terrible mistake that may have disastrous results for many.

You have always without a doubt heard and read much about the political crises in the Middle East in which the State of Israel plays a central role. This is, in fact, an ongoing series of crises with potential to bring the greatest misfortune on the entire world. Tragically many believe that Zionism and Judaism are identical. Thus they conclude that the entire Jewish people is responsible for the actions of the Zionist government and the world crises which emanates from it.

This is a Grave Error!

The truth is that the Jewish faith and Zionism are two very different philosophies. They are as opposite as day and night. The Jewish people have existed for thousands of years. In their two thousand years of Divinely decreed exile no Jew ever sought to end this exile and establish independent political sovereignty anywhere. The people’s sole purpose was the study and fulfillment of the Divine commandments of the Torah.

The Zionist movement created the Israeli state. The latter is a persuasion less than one hundred years old. Its essential goal was and is to change the nature of the Jewish people from that of a religious entity to a political movement. From Zionism’s inception the spiritual leaders of the Jewish people stood in staunch opposition to it.

To this day Torah Jewry remains forever loyal to its faith. Zionists want the world to believe that they are the representatives of the entire Jewish people. This is false! The Jewish people never chose them as their leaders.

The Zionists have deceived many well meaning Jewish people via terror, trickery and false propaganda. They have at their disposal the use of a nearly universally subservient media. Whoever attempts to criticize them puts his livelihood and, at times, his very life in danger.

However, despite the media blackout and easy resort to terror the simple truth remains unrefuted and irrefutable:-

The Creator gave us the Holy Land thousands of years ago. Yet, when we sinned, He took it away and sent us into exile. Since that time our task is to wait for Him to send the Messiah. At that time, the Creator alone, without any human being lifting a hand or saying a word, will bring us together and take us out of exile. He will likewise establish universal peace among all mankind and all will serve Him in good will.

Some religious Jews, confused by Zionist propaganda quote Biblical verses that state that God gave the children of Israel the Holy Land. They overlook, unfortunately, those verses which say that He took it away due to our sins. They further ignore those prophecies which explicitly describe the last exile’s conclusion as a Divine, not a human process.

The Creator has commanded every Jew to follow the ways of peace and to be loyal to the country where he lives.

Torah true Jewry waits patiently for the Messianic redemption. They have nothing to do with any kind of pseudo “Jewish State” and its aggressions against other peoples. They have a deep sympathy for the plight of the Palestinians who have suffered the most from Zionism’s false teachings and barbaric actions.

The Zionist state is not a Jewish state. The Zionists alone are the only ones responsible for their actions. Authentic Jewry has and will continue to oppose the very existence of this blasphemous state.

May all mankind witness the true redemption.

Reducing Points of Friction!

Where there are differences of opinion, of culture, of religious belief and custom, there will always be points of friction – some of which may be insignificant enough to be overlooked, but others which are so flagrant that local, and even international laws are being broken.

I remember a test case in the UK, many years ago now, turbanwhen the requirement for motorcyclists to wear a crash helmet became law. Sikhs had a problem with that, for they wore turbans on religious grounds, and refused to wear crash helmets.

It took about 3 years of legal wrangling to iron out the problem. The result was an exemption for the Sikhs on religious grounds. See

Although an acceptable compromise was eventually reached, (at some unknown cost to the taxpayer), it would not have been necessary at all if there had been no Sikh motorcyclists in the UK. The point here being that immigration leads to problems that are usually not anticipated, and have to be sorted out at taxpayer expense.
Another such problem, but much more significant, and one that will not be resolved by compromise, is that of FGM, (Female Genital Mutilation).

Authorities have been aware that female children have been sent abroad to be “Fixed” for some time now, and keep a look-out at departure points for possible victims. This terrible practice contravenes not only national laws, but also Human Rights.

Now we are getting news that the situation is being reversed, and a “cutter” is being flown in to deal with multiple victims at “FGM Parties”, and then being flown out again. See

This is one party that you do NOT want an invitation to!

And who pays for cleaning up the mess?

Why we do, of course!

“The MPs also heard evidence that 75 to 80 women were undergoing FGM reversal operations in Britain each year.”

Perhaps not so serious in itself, but definitely a problem that is much more “in your face” and widespread, is that of the “Burka”, or the requirement for Muslim women to cover themselves almost completely when out in public view. See “What it’s really like to be a Muslim woman in Britain
I could understand it if people feel threatened when confronted by a person that is deliberately hiding their identity so completely. My first reaction to seeing such a person is shock, which is quickly followed by pity, for having to wear such garments in warmer weather can only be very uncomfortable.

It is also a symbol of male dominance for most people, which far exceeds the boundaries of the requirement for equality of sexes, although the person concerned may not feel oppressed at all because of their upbringing and culture.

And lastly on this subject, (for now), we have the problem of young ladies who have just started menstruating, at about 14 years of age. In some cultures, they are old enough to marry, which is in itself alarming. Worse, however, is the fact that there are people in the UK who are prepared to perform such a ceremony, which would be in blatant contravention of UK law.

We are seeing the ramifications of an ill-conceived immigration policy that, while intending to improve economic status in the short term, completely ignored possible long-term effects. Similar mistakes have been made in Germany, and no doubt in other countries.

Looking one generation further ahead, where Christianity is likely to become a minority religion in the UK, a short term economic gain will have translated into a loss of the complete country. See Subversion? – Keep one eye on the Big Picture!

This could be construed as “Winning the battle, but losing the War” – not at all the intended outcome, I presume!

It is time to consider serious measures to reduce points of friction.

Repatriation may be one of our best choices!

Dang me! I’ve been Re-blogged!

There was 1 comment waiting for moderation when I logged into the blog this morning, but it wasn’t the usual spam. When I moused over the originating URL, the picture that came up in my browser was a miniature of my own post.

I immediately went to the site, and started to read.

Sure enough, I was reading my very own post, in a totally different setting, and on a totally different blog.

A mixture of thoughts flooded quickly through my brain, one chasing the other: – surprise, amazement, even shock, but they finally settled down to one – Elation!

For a blogger, the Reblog must be the ultimate in compliments, and the way it was done – simply, without additional comment, but with that all-important link back to the source at the bottom, was perfectly fine with me.

Ok, so their blog carries adverts, but they don’t detract from the concept that this blogger thought my post a perfect match for the material he/she was trying to get across.

Which post are we talking about?

The last one – “Subversion? – Keep one eye on the Big Picture!”

And where did it go? Here!

I didn’t know this blog at all, so I had a look around. It is a bit of a puzzle if you don’t speak Arabic, but if you click on the main symbol it will take you to the front of the blog.allah-muslim-symbol

It turns out not to be a ‘hate’ blog at all, more informative than anything, and not only concentrated on religion. A sample of titles from posts on the front page reads as follows:-

    My Trip to the Mosque
    Sunrise in Kuala Lumpur
    From Inside Al Aqsa
Islamist plot to infiltrate schools ‘widespread across UK’
Brunei Adopts Islamic Sharia Law, Will Soon Allow Flogging, Dismemberment, and Stoning to Death

Some articles are not in English language, but the majority are.

You may make comments, but there is no ‘About’ and no ‘Contact’ page.

If this blog is neutral, as I hope, it could prove a useful source of information for us. I am therefore going to add it to my list of sources on Hotlinks, with many thanks for the Reblog!

Subversion? – Keep one eye on the Big Picture!

Recent events in the UK reminded me that religion can be used as a weapon to devastating effect. If you want proof of that, look up the history of Hawaii, which used to be a sovereign state with its own monarchy, but is now the 50th state of the USA.

How the heck did that happen?

Its a long story, but lets go back to 1843, when Lord George Paulet demanded that the king, Kamehameha III, cede the Hawaiian Islands to the British Crown. The king, under threat of bombardment from a Royal Navy Frigate, stepped down under protest on February 25th.

“Gerrit P. Judd, a missionary who had become the Minister of Finance, secretly sent envoys to the United States, France and Britain, to protest Paulet’s actions.”

When Rear Admiral Richard Darton Thomas, Paulet’s commanding officer, arrived at Honolulu harbor on July 26, he repudiated Paulet’s actions, and on July 31, 1843, restored the Hawaiian government.

“American Protestant missionaries settled in Hawaii at the beginning of the 19th century and quickly gained influence and wealth, becoming big landowners and gaining control of the economy. In the late 19th century the dominant White minority overthrew the Hawaiian Kingdom and founded a brief Republic that was finally annexed by the United States.”

More detail on this at

Is somebody trying to do something similar in the UK?

Read the information at the following sources:-

According to Rowan Williams, the former Archbishop of Canterbury, Britain is now a “post-Christian” country, and that the era of widespread worship was over.

Ignoring what Cameron says on the subject, we need to seriously consider what Post-Christian could mean in the not-too-distant future.

“In May (2013), new census data published by the British government showed that Islam is set to become the dominant religion in Britain within the next generation.”

And we know that Islamic influence is already strong enough to persuade Subway to sell only ‘Halal’ meats.

Now, the burning question!

Would you like to wake up one morning and find that you were now subject to Sharia Law?

If that doesn’t bother you at all, then turn over and go back to sleep. Simple.

If you have any objection to that happening, you need to
